Chestnut, apple and chocolate cake

And with that, say hello to this delicious bake that is low in sugar and high in fibre ✨ by using naturally sweet-tasting ingredients (chestnuts, apples and raw chocolate), it will satisfy any sweet cravings while still being blood glucose friendly!


Ingredients

  • 100g ground almonds

  • 100g chestnut flour

  • 2 red apples (skin on) - chopped

  • 1/4 cup avocado oil

  • 2 large eggs

  • 70g dark chocolate ~ I use Ombar 72% or 90%

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract + dash of ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp baking powder

Method

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees + line/grease a loaf tin

Mix all the ingredients together, fold in the chopped apple and chocolate, spoon into your loaf tin

Bake for 60-75 mins ✨
